Love is our weapon against fear, which is a substantial obstacle to reformation. Love can unite us to change the world for the better. Depression of love and expansion of hatred will be the cause of our planet’s and our species’ demise.
Despite the progressive changes in some countries in recent decades, some governments, groups, and individuals remain who disregard the importance and the beauty of love. They will use violent means to suppress any non-conforming varieties of love and spread hatred. There are still ways to go to achieve freedom and equality of love around the world.
Love is not a crime. Love is not a sin. Love should not be prohibited by the law. Love should not be limited by religion. Love should not have cultural consequences such as social isolation and mental and physical anguish. Love is a gift that every human being should be able to benefit from, regardless of their identity and orientation.
These artworks were created to remind us that love is not black and white and that it comes in different shapes, colours, and forms. These artworks were created to show that love and hope will find their way to be seen and heard, even in the most dreadful and cruellest of situations. Censorship, persecution, and aggression are innately defeated, and love will prevail.
